These terms govern your use of 4oreign, a marketplace in the United States that connects people who want to rent cars ("renters") with people who rent out their cars ("hosts"). By creating an account you agree to them.

Eligibility

You must hold a valid driver's license and meet the minimum age for the car tier: 21 for Commuter, 25 for Deluxe, 30 for Exotic & Custom. Renters must upload their license and be approved before booking.

Bookings and payment

A trip is confirmed only after payment succeeds. Daily rentals include the daily rate, a 10% service fee and the protection plan you select. A refundable security deposit is held on your card once a daily trip is confirmed. Extra miles beyond the daily cap and refuelling below 90% are charged after daily trips, first from the deposit. Weekly and monthly gig rentals cost a flat $400/week or $1,500/month, paid upfront with unlimited miles and no added fees, deposit hold or post-trip rental extras.

Hosts

Hosts must own or be authorized to rent the car, keep it roadworthy, insured and registered. 4oreign keeps 15% of each completed trip; hosts receive the remaining 85%.

Renter responsibilities

Return the car on time, in the same condition, and do not smoke, sub-rent, race or drive off-road. Take condition photos at pickup and return. The Cancellation & Damage Policy describes the proposed daily protection-plan damage categories, exclusions and renter responsibility caps. These draft damage-fee waiver terms require legal and insurance review before launch and are not an insurance policy.

Disputes and liability

Report problems through trip messages within 24 hours of the trip ending. 4oreign is a marketplace and is not liable beyond the amounts paid through the platform, except where the law does not allow such limits.

Changes

We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept them.
